Looppanel is built for collaborative research, making it easy to share your findings—whether you're looping in a teammate, stakeholder, or someone outside your organization. From timestamped clips to full insight reports, you control what gets shared and with whom.

📎 What Can You Share on Looppanel?

Here’s a breakdown of what’s shareable and how to do it:

🎬 Clips

Every note made in your file becomes a timestamped video clip.

✅ These clips are:

  • Shareable via link

  • Downloadable for slide decks or reports

  • Embeddable into Jira tickets, Confluence pages, or Notion documents

Hover on any note and click on the “Share” icon to socialize video clips from your call.

You can also create custom clips by highlighting the part of the transcript you’re interested in and choosing a section from the pop up modal. Hover on the note you created on the right hand side of your screen to find the share link!

📊 Insights Reports

Insights generated in the Insights Summary Panel can be shared easily as a live link with your team!

They can see the latest version of your report, read through quotes, and even watch relevant clips.

📝 Notetaking Link

Need someone to take notes during a live call?

  • You can always copy the Note-Taking Link from your Settings.

  • Share it with a teammate to collaborate in real-time during a user interview.

📁 Files (User Research)

Any file you upload—whether it's a recorded user interview or call—is shareable.

Simply click on the Share button on the top right hand corner of your file to share a view-only link to that document.

📂 Projects

You can even share an entire project with a colleague!

If you want someone to have access to a specific project, but not your entire Looppanel workspace, click the ‘Share Project’ button and invite the relevant user.

By default invited users will have “view only” access to the project. If you’d like them to have some edit capabilities in the project folder, select “Allow invited collaborators to edit analysis”.

Sharing a project allows your colleague to access all the files, analysis, and insights within that folder.

❓ FAQs

Should I invite someone to a project even if they’re in my workspace?

  • You don’t need to invite someone to your project if they’re already a workspace member. They can simply navigate to ‘Projects’ → ‘Team Projects’ to access your folder.

  • Only use the ‘Share Project’ option if you do not want the collaborator to view your entire workspace. If you only want them to access that folder alone, this is the right way to share.

If someone has access to my shared file or report, can they make any changes?

  • No, if you shared the link to a file or an insights report from the share link buttons, those are view-only links. To invite someone to collaborate, you can invite them to your workspace, or to a single project.
