Once your interview has been uploaded and auto-analyzed by Looppanel, it’s time to pull everything together into a clear, insight-packed report. That’s where the Insights Summary Panel comes in—your home for reviewing, organizing, and sharing key takeaways from your research.


💡 What Is the Insights Summary Panel?

The Insights Summary Panel is your workspace for:

  • Viewing AI-suggested insights

  • Adding your own custom insights

  • Organizing quotes and evidence

  • Building a shareable, source-backed insights report

To open it, just click the “Insights” button on the right-hand side of your Analysis screen.


🚀 Step-by-Step: Using the Insights Summary Panel

✅ Step 1: Review AI-Suggested Tags

After Looppanel finishes auto-analyzing your session:

  • It applies AI-generated tags to your notes (look for the ✨ sparkle icon).

  • We recommend you review and adjust these tags:

    • Add missing tags

    • Remove irrelevant ones

    • Edit them to fit your taxonomy

💡 AI is powerful, but human review makes it even better!


✅ Step 2: Explore Suggested Insights

Looppanel will also suggest insights in your panel—these are key takeaways backed by the tagged data. Each insight includes:

  • A concise summary of a theme or finding

  • Citations (quotes + video clips) from your actual user research

These help you verify every insight and back it with real user voices.


🛠️ Step 3: Edit, Organize & Manage Your Insights

The Insights Summary Panel gives you full control over your report:

  • 📝 Edit Insight Text
    Click on an insight to update the language or add context.

  • 🔀 Reorder Insights
    Drag-and-drop insights to match your storytelling flow.

  • 🗑 Hide or Delete Insights
    Hover on an insight to reveal these options.

  • 🧾 Manage Citations (Quotes)
    Hover over the citation number → Click ‘Remove Note’ to delete a specific quote as evidence.


➕ Step 4: Add Notes to Your Insights Manually

You’re never locked into what AI suggests. You can manually build your own insights too! To do this:

  • Click the checkbox next to any note in your transcript Then choose to:

  • Add a tag to that note

  • Create a new insight from that note

  • Add the note as evidence to an existing insight

🧠 This is perfect for highlighting moments the AI might’ve missed—or customizing insights for specific stakeholders.


📤 Step 5: Share Your Insights

Once your insights are ready:

  • Click “Share” to copy a link

  • Anyone with the link can:

    • View the latest version of your report

    • Read through all insights and supporting quotes

    • Watch the video clips behind each insight
